Many of us long for a real reconciliation with Mother Earth. Come hear a trio of our nation?s most visionary voices and pragmatic activists discuss real-world solutions to climate change that heal our social fabric at the same time.
? Majora Carter, the leading ?green jobs? advocate and MacArthur genius grant winner who founded and runs Sustainable South Bronx and co-hosts Sundance Channel?s ?The Green.?
? K.C. Golden, the Climate Solutions policy and clean economy expert named Seattle?s #1 Eco-Hero of 2007, who leads an international climate network and advises Al Gore?s Alliance for Climate Protection.
? Betsy Taylor, the masterful social change maker who called together and chairs the new 1Sky Campaign, a rapidly growing open source alliance helping mobilize our society to do what science tells us is necessary to halt climate change.
The event is hosted by Episcopal Bishop-elect of Maryland the Rev. Eugene Sutton. ?I may be the diocese?s first black bishop but I strive also to be its first green bishop,? says Sutton.
