The Hyattsville Horticulture Society has extended the Chesapeake Green
Compost Sale to this Saturday, April 26. We will be at Community
Forklift this Saturday, from 9am to 3pm selling Chesapeake Green for
$3.00 per 40 lb bag. (normally retailing at local garden centers for
$5 to $6 per bag).
Chesapeake Green is an environmentally friendly soil amendment
blended from composted poultry litter, clam shells and wood chips. It
is odorless from the composting process and will add nutrients, lime
and organic matter to your soil, making it great for flower beds,
lawns and vegetable gardens.
Community Forklift is located at 4671 Tanglewood Dr., Edmonston, MD
