Welcome, DC 11th Hour Activists! (The Bill PASSED!)

We are an environmental activist group, based on and in association with the documentary: The 11th Hour. Leonardo DiCaprio and Tree Media's "The 11th Hour" is a feature length documentary concerning the environmental crises caused by human actions and their impact on the planet. For 2009, DC 11th Hour Action is focused on passing green legislation in DC.

We come together as a force of change. DC is a powerful city that is replete with possibilities; let's see what we can accomplish together. The 11th Hour was a great start, let's keep the momentum moving...

The movie includes Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev, theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking and former CIA director R. James Woolsey are among those who discuss the pressing issues facing today's world. Specialists reveal how human actions impact the Earth's ecosystems, and what can be done to reverse or slow the damage before it is too late to save the planet's life.
